Last semester...

I've finally reached my last semester of school! I will be devoting nearly all of my energy on preparing my portfolio and helping plan our class' portfolio show. I'm definitely ready to finish so I can get out there and find a job in the industry. I plan to post some works in progress -- feel free to critique. I want a spectacular portfolio, so I welcome feedback!

This project was supposed to be about experimental type. It was really more about found type, and even then it seemed like an art project. I asked Greg and some of his co-workers to photocopy their faces at work... so we have Jan and Paul appearing sleepy (or dead). When we moved our offices last year, I found a bunch of very old rubber stamps. Many of them said really goofy things, including "Question Eliminated (Misleading)." So that's where the words came from. I was mainly inspired by the way the copier-faces turned out, and how sweet Jan looks.
